eSports team member Rosenbelle Ganan talks us through her day.
Who are you?
Rosenbelle Ganan - recovering festival junkie
What do you do?
Strategy Sensei at Fnatic - one of the worlds top eSports teams
What's your favourite motivational/meaningful quote?
"I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better."
- Maya Angelou
What's one of your proudest achievements?
Earlier this year I volunteered to teach at Shanti Bhavan a school for some of the poorest kids in India with the objective of breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
It reminded me to live each day through the eyes of a child - with curiosity, awe and wonder.
What is/are one/some of your biggest challenge(s)?
Maintaining balance - I’m nomadic and have been living out of a suitcase for the past three years.
It’s a tough juggling act to ensure that I’m performing at my best, getting enough sleep, eating well, nurturing relationships and powering through the other surprises life throws my way.
What's your top tip, for keeping your brain in tip top shape?
To quote Arianna Huffington you need to “Sleep your way to the top”.
I need at least 8 hours to keep me in good form. Combined with meditation and my boxing practice the superwoman is ready to come out.
Wearing ear plugs and an eye mask has been a game changer to get uninterrupted sleep.
What are the 3 favourite things in your life right now?(food/app/book/etc)
1. My 15 year old Goorin knitted hat - it's not leaving my head this winter 2. My Rifle Paper Co Notebook - get those thoughts out of my head and onto paper 3. ‘The Daily Stoic’ by Ryan Holiday - rereading for some morning zen
What changes have you noticed since using Heights?
As I’m always on the go, it’s important for me to stay focused and keep my energy levels steady. The mix of vitamins in Heights has given me that extra boost.
Heights has also made it easier to travel with my supplements as it combines the Omega 3 and Vit B, C and D I used to take separately.
